Air System Communication Panel (Amron Compatible) is a rugged, compact, and reliable surface unit designed to facilitate clear, real-time voice communication between the topside operator and up to two divers simultaneously. Built for demanding underwater operations, this console ensures mission-critical communication in commercial diving, underwater inspection, and search and rescue applications. Built to drop into the existing communications cutout in air system surface consoles. Brings the quality and features of Dive Spy’s communication systems to your existing surface air console.

Key Features:

• Drop-in Replacement
  Built to effortlessly install in the existing cutout for communications in Amron air system surface consoles. Includes the required mil-spec connector for powering LP alarm and connecting to speaker unit in console lid.

• Supports Two Divers Simultaneously
  Independent volume controls and microphone channels for each diver, allowing for clear and customisable communication.

• Supports all headsets; Including 2-wire
  Works with legacy 2-wire diver headsets or modern 4-wire diver headsets. 2-wire headsets do not support bidirectional crosstalk. Optimised for Dive Spy headsets, but works well with legacy piezo-based diver headsets.

• Crosstalk Support
  Bidirectional (only supported by 4-wire comms) or unidirectional crosstalk. Also supports disabling crosstalk entirely. Selected by rotary switch.

• Diver Select
  Allows the surface personnel to enable one or both divers. Surface personnel can only hear or address selected divers. Deselected divers have their microphone and headphones muted.

• Flexible microphone options
  Supports built-in microphone, handsets, and headsets, through industry standard double-banana connector.

• Flexible Speaker options
  Hear divers through built-in console speaker or external speakers/headset. Uses industry standard double banana plugs.

• Supports Dive Spy Multifunction Handset
  Supports use of the Dive Spy multi-function Handset. Multifunction handsets work as a speaker to more easily listen to divers in noisy environments and switches function to microphone when the push-to-talk button is pressed.

  Operates on internal flight-rated rechargeable battery or external AC/DC power, ensuring uninterrupted performance.

• Electrically Protected
  All important power inputs are protected by user-resettable fuses positioned on the control panel. Simply push switches back down if they are tripped.

• Compact and Portable
  Lightweight and easy to deploy, ideal for mobile dive teams or fixed installations.

• External Recording
  Features RCA outputs for external recorders. Outputs combined audio, or individual diver outputs. Individual diver outputs allows separate recording for what each diver says and hears. Outputs are standard line-level audio.

• Built to Last
  Built around a 316 stainless steel control panel, powered by high endurance lithium batteries, protected by 316 stainless steel casing, and fitted with a gasket to seal against the air panel.
